In daily life, we have to use the flush toilet to solve major life issues every day. Over time, the toilet will inevitably develop some minor malfunctions. Moreover, minor faults are basically related to water tank accessories. If you master the working principles of water tank accessories, you can basically understand the fault principles and troubleshooting methods.

1. Toilet bowl Water tank accessories: Water tank accessories refer to squat toilets and accessories used to control the amount of water in the ceramic water tank of the toilet. Its function is to turn off the water source and flush the toilet.

2. Water tank accessories: The water tank accessories are composed of three parts: water inlet valve, drain valve and button.

1) According to the characteristics of drain valves, they are divided into flap type, double ball type, delay type, etc.

2) According to the characteristics of the buttons, they are divided into top-press type, side-press type, side-dial type, etc.

3) According to the design characteristics of the water inlet valve, it is divided into float type, pontoon type, hydraulic type, etc.

The most common are the following three situations and their corresponding treatment methods. Once you learn them, you will also be a master in solving toilet problems.

1. After the water supply source is connected, no water enters the water tank.

1) Check whether the water inlet filter is blocked by debris. Remove the water inlet pipe and clean it before putting it back in place.

2) Check whether the float or float is stuck and cannot move up and down. Restore to original position after cleaning.

3) The force arm pin is too tight and the valve core cannot pop open the water inlet hole. Use a screwdriver to loosen it counterclockwise.

4) Open the water inlet valve cover and check whether the sealing film in the water inlet valve has fallen off or is blocked by flax, iron salt, sediment and other debris. Rinse clean with clean water.

5) Check whether the tap water pressure is too low (below 0.03MP).

2. The commode toilet is leaking.

1) The water level is improperly adjusted and is too high, causing water to leak from the overflow pipe. Use the screw to adjust the water level clockwise to below the overflow pipe opening.

2) The water-stopping performance of the water inlet valve is damaged, and the water-sealing valve chip is broken. Replace the spare valve core sealing piece or replace the water inlet valve.

3) The water sealing film of the drain valve is deformed, damaged, or has foreign objects on it. Replace the spare water sealing film.

4) The chain or tie rod between the button switch and the drain valve is too tight. Return the button to its original position and tighten the screw.

5) The float ball presses the delay cup or flap, preventing it from being reset.

3. Start the flush button. Although the drain valve drains water, it will stop draining immediately after letting go.

1) The connection between the switch button and the zipper is too short or too long.

2) Pressing the switch lever upward to adjust the height is inappropriate.

3) The leakage hole of the delay cup is adjusted too large.
